6. Formation of District Committee:
(1) District Committee formed pursuant to Section 23 of the Act shall consist of the following
Chairperson and members:-
(a) Chief District Officer -Chairperson
(b) District Attorney, Office of District Attorney -Member
(c) Chief, District Police Office -Member
(d) Three women activist from among institutions and persons working in the field of Human Trafficking
and Transportation nominated by Chief District Officer on an inclusive basis -Member
(e) Representative, Working Committee of Federation of Nepalese Journalist -Member
(f) Woman Development Officer -Member Secretary
(2) The President of District Development Committee shall remain as an invited member in the District Committee.
